Yael Lederman, Managing Director
Yael is a sophomore at Stanford majoring in Biomechanical Engineering. This coming summer, Yael will be working in Venture Capital out of Tel Aviv, Israel. Last summer, Yael lead operations for Cardinal Ventures, planning and executing the fall 2016 session. Two summers ago, Yael served as a marketing intern for Genome Compiler, a biotech software start-up in Tel Aviv where she developed and wrote content to increase website traffic and software downloads. Yael is interested in the intersection between entrepreneurship and biotechnology. She enjoys writing, traveling and being outdoors. Sherrie Wang, VP of Mentorship and Outreach
Sherrie is a second-year PhD student studying Computational and Mathematical Engineering, striving to do good with machine learning. In addition to Cardinal Ventures, she is also involved in Stanford Women in Math Mentoring, Big Math Women, ICME Student Council, and Outdoors Education. Before coming to Stanford, she worked for a year at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the Corporate Risk Management group. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 2014, where she studied Biomedical Engineering and started a business to tutor and mentor high school students. Tina Jiang, VP of External Relations
Tina is a freshman from New York, studying Management Science and Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford. In the past, Tina has been a marketing intern for two startups, PaperFree and Ringly. PaperFree is an enterprise software company and Ringly is an Andreessen Horowitz backed wearable tech startup. This coming summer, Tina will be a marketing intern at Casper, a startup set on disrupting the sleep industry, with ~70 million in funding. Nathan Lee, VP of Admissions
Nathan is a freshman studying Symbolic Systems. He’s passionate about connecting people to the resources and opportunities they need to grow. In addition to Cardinal Ventures, Nathan is involved in BASES as an officer of the Social Impact team.
